Building Respect Together is an internal program created to discuss what makes up a respectful and safe workplace, but also to encourage and better support communication among co-workers through positive inclusion.
The program is entrenched within the core values that Pan American aligns itself with; safety, honesty, integrity, quality, effectiveness, production, openness, and respect for each other and our environment.
In the following modules, you will be asked to watch a series of videos about this program, and after each video you will be given a set of questions pertaining to that video. You must score 80% or higher on every module to pass it.
Training Modules

Module 1: Respect
This session centers around respect in the workplace and aims at providing the ability to recognize key terms like diversity and inclusion, recognize and reflect on an individual’s own bias, identify and put respectful communication into practice, and acknowledge your own boundaries and respect of privacy.

Module 2: Awareness
This session centers around awareness in the workplace and aims at providing the ability to understand identity and assumptions, racism in the workplace, understanding and identifying empathy, assertiveness, and unity, and how to communicate more effectively with one another.

Module 3: Harassment & Assertiveness
This session centers around harassment in the workplace and assertiveness, and aims at defining clearly the conducts that are not accepted at Pan American Silver. In addition this session will provide the ability to communicate more effectively in order to solve conflicts, with peers and/or supervisors, and contribute to a healthier work environment.
